Campus and Community Life

An important part of being a Greyhound is the community and campus activities in which Greyhounds have the opportunity to participate. Being a Greyhound means being a role model for kids, and MACC takes advantage of that by making sure Greyhounds are in the schools reading to classes, talking about the importance of education, signing autographs and showing up at recess to play basketball with kids.

Greyhounds also visit after-school programs at facilities like the YMCA to play basketball with kids, pass out T-shirts and posters and sign autographs. Players ride in parades and represent MACC at community events like the downtown Holiday Living Windows and breast cancer fundraisers like the Pinkzone games.

Giving back to the community and College is a huge component off the court for Greyhounds.
