Lady Greyhounds Lend a Hand

The MACC Lady Greyhounds recently took part in the Moberly Area Community College Adopt-A-Highway program. This past Wednesday every member of the team, as well as the coaching staff, devoted time to assist in the pickup of trash and other items on a one mile stretch of Highway 63 near Moberly.

"We feel it is important for our student-athletes to take part in events such as this in order to learn the importance of giving back to the community that they are living in," said head coach Chad Killinger. "By taking part in some of the community service projects that we do we are hoping that they will see how they can make a difference in their communities long after they have left our program."
