Improves record to 22-3

The Moberly Greyhounds defeated Culver Stockton JV’s 110-51 on Friday evening at theFitzsimmons-John Arena.  Moberly jumped out to an early 11-0 lead they never relinquished and led 54-21 at the half.  Moberly was led in scoring by 6’5” sophomore wing Mar’Qywell Jackson with 21 points while sophomore wing Brandon Better added 17 points(5 made treys).  6’6” freshman forward Tyree White had 13 points and 11 rebounds, Delfincko Bogan scored 12 points and 6’9” sophomore post Deitrich Cole scored 10 points in his first career start.

“We are definetly in the hardest part of our schedule,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “So it was nice to get a comfortablewin and everyone got to play and competed well.  With that said, it’s now on to five hard games and we are really looking forward to the challenge.  What an exciting time of the year and our team has a lot to play for down the stretch.”

Moberly improved to 22-3 overall and stand 4-1 in the Region 16 standings and 5-1 in the MCCAC Conference.
