After winning their first 32 games of the 2017-2018 season the #4 ranked Moberly Area Community College women’s basketball team saw their season come to a close as they lost in the Sweet Sixteen round of the NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball National Tournament to #8 ranked Northwest Florida State College by a score of 68-47.

Moberly Area Community College sophomore point guard Carnethia Brown signed her National Letter of Intent on Tuesday afternoon at the MACC Activity Center, choosing to continue her academic and athletic career at Alabama A&M University, an NCAA Division I institution located in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Moberly Area Community College Lady Greyhounds arrived in Lubbock, Texas on Saturday night as they began preparations to compete in the 2018 NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball National Tournament on Wednesday evening.

Moberly Area Community College sophomore center Anisha George continued to add to her accolades as she was named an NJCAA second team All-American this week.

Our Lady Greyhounds will be leaving for Lubbock, Texas on Friday, March 16th for the NJCAA Women’s National Basketball Championship. Please help us send them off in style at 1:30 p.m. at the MACC Activity Center.
