NJCAA National Poll

The MACC Men’s Basketball team is currently ranked #5 in the latest NJCAA National Poll. The Greyhounds rose two spots from #7 a week ago after winning the William Baer Tournament defeating St. John Military Academy, Sauk Valley and Highland Community College in the finals.

Moberly is a perfect 14-0 on the season, and have won 20 of their last 21 games dating back to last season, with the only loss to Hutchinson CC in the NJCAA National Tournament.

"It’s very hard to win 13 games in a row at any time, so we are very proud of our team’s accomplishments,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “with that said, the goals this team wants to accomplish lies ahead of us second semester. We are in finals now so that’s our major emphasis, but we'll be excited to get back on December 26 and attempt to keep our streak alive. The ultimate goal is a return trip to Hutchinson, Kansas.”

There are three Missouri teams ranked with Mineral Area replacing MACC at #7 and Three Rivers ranked #19 with a combined record of 39-1. MACC returns to action on December 30-31 in the John Wood Classic.
