A 74-51 victory over visiting State Fair Community College on Saturday night allowed the 5th ranked Moberly Area Community College Lady Greyhounds to clinch their first Missouri Community College Athletic Conference championship, in just their second season of competing in the league, and equaled a school record as they won their 27th straight game.

After being tied at halftime a strong second half defensive performance propelled the Moberly Area Community College Lady Greyhounds, who are now ranked 5th nationally, to a 72-55 victory over Penn Valley Community College on Tuesday night as they improved to 26-0 on the season.

A 17 point performance in a 91-51 victory over Missouri Valley J.V. last night allowed Angelica Wiggins, a 5-9 guard from Toronto, Canada, to eclipse the 500 career point mark at Moberly Area Community College.


Five players reached double figures for the 6th ranked Moberly Area Community College Lady Greyhounds as they won 91-51 against the J.V. squad from Missouri Valley College last night.

Moberly Area Community College’s Anisha George was recently named the recipient of the NJCAA Region 16 Player of the Week award for January 29th-February 4th.
