The Moberly Area Community College women’s basketball program has finalized their roster and coaching staff for the 2017-2018 season with the addition of three players and hiring of Chelsea Faulhauber.

After a fall semester that saw them achieve a 3.22 team grade point average the women’s basketball program at Moberly Area Community College had five student-athletes named to the Dean’s List and a sixth who made the President’s List as they finished the spring semester with a 3.30 team g.p.a.

Carnethia Brown and Anisha George, who finished as two of the top three scorers this past season for the MACC women’s basketball program and helped guide the Greyhound Women to a 23-8 overall mark and second place finish in the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference, were recently selected as two of the top 40 NJCAA student-athletes who will participate in the 9th Annual NJCAA Coaches Association All-Star Weekend to be held July 21-24 in Niceville, Florida.

The Moberly Area Community College women’s basketball program recently added a pair of transfers to their 2017 recruiting class with the signing of Jocelyn Taylor and Sentreal Gregory.

The Moberly Area Community College women's basketball program has had three more student-athletes sign to continue their careers at the four-year level since the end of the 2016-2017 season, following Romekia Wallace, who committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha in April.
