MACC ANNOUNCES FULL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR GREYHOUND HOMECOMING WEEKEND FEBRUARY 27–28

Moberly Area Community College invites alumni, students, employees, and community members to return to campus for Greyhound Homecoming Weekend, set for Friday and Saturday, February 27–28. The weekend will feature baseball, basketball, youth activities, alumni recognition, and the annual Heart of a Hound Fundraiser, celebrating MACC pride while supporting Greyhound Athletics.

The full weekend of events begins on Friday, February 27 with MACC Baseball hosting Milwaukee Area Technical College in a doubleheader at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Howard Hills Athletic Complex. The matchup marks the 2026 home opener for the Greyhounds, officially opening the home baseball season during Homecoming weekend.*

The festivities continue Friday evening with the Heart of a Hound Athletic Fundraiser at the MACC–Moberly Activity Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6:00 p.m. The fundraiser supports all MACC athletic programs, including basketball, baseball, softball, cheer, and esports, and will feature silent auction items, updates from Greyhound coaches, and the announcement of the 2026 MACC Hall of Fame inductees. Saturday, February 28, features a full day of Homecoming activities. A Youth Cheer Clinic will be held at the MACC–Moberly Activity Center from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is open to Pre-K through 5th grade participants. Clinic participants will perform during halftime of the Women's Basketball game later that evening.

Baseball action continues Saturday with another doubleheader against Milwaukee Area Technical College at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Howard Hills.*

Homecoming basketball highlights the evening as the Greyhounds host Mineral Area College at the MACC–Moberly Activity Center, with Women's Basketball tipping off at 5:00 p.m. and Men's Basketball at 7:00 p.m. The first 200 fans will receive free Homecoming T-shirts, and announcements throughout the night will recognize alumni and Hall of Fame inductees, with inductees formally announced at halftime of the men's game. Following the conclusion of play, MACC will honor its sophomore and graduating Greyhounds, and fans are invited to stay for Autograph Night on the court with the teams and cheerleaders.

Greyhound Homecoming Weekend is a celebration of MACC athletics, tradition, and community. Fans are encouraged to wear red and grey and join the Greyhounds for a memorable weekend on campus.
