GREYHOUND BASEBALL HOSTED MILWAUKEE AREA TECHNICAL COLLEGE
Greyhound Baseball hosted Milwaukee Area Technical College for a four-game set over the weekend, winning three out of four. The Greyhound offense was unstoppable, putting up an impressive 55 runs. Many players made an impact, including Hunter Shoulta and Joey Marcinkiewicz, who combined for 25 RBI. Shoulta's hot bat sparked the first win with a 4-4, 8 RBI performance, including two doubles and a triple. He continued to impress, hitting a huge 3-run homer on Saturday. Marcinkiewicz contributed six hits on day two and added 9 RBI to the day's sweep. Freshman Sam Bespoyasny secured the first win on the mound, striking out seven and only walking one in four innings. Sophomores Hayden Wilson and Cooper Swift both earned relief wins in games three and four. Looking ahead, Greyhound Baseball will face St. Charles Community College in a home doubleheader on Tuesday, February 5th, starting at 1:00 pm.
