STRONG FIRST HALF FOR THE MACC GREYHOUNDS BASEBALL TEAM

The MACC Greyhounds Baseball team has had a strong first half of the season with a 13-9 record, overcoming early-season challenges with injuries and weather. Recently, they've rode a 10-game win streak into the second half of the season.

Coach Fletcher states "We had some early struggles with putting all three phases of the game together. Recently we have done a good job with pitching and defense and our offense has fired on all cylinders". "I would attribute the success to being able to get outside more often and being able to have continuous reps."

With Region play just around the corner, the team is poised to continue building momentum and gaining ground as they push towards the back half of the year. Coach Fletcher added," Coach Fletcher added "To see the growth our young club has had is encouraging as we move forward into a tough region play on the weekends. I feel we have scheduled tough early to give these guys the experience they need to compete in Region Play. Every weekend from here on out is tough and will take a total group effort to stay successful." The Greyhounds are excited for what's to come and are ready to compete at a high level.
