MACC Alum Jake Stedman Named Northwoods League All-Star

Moberly Area Community College is celebrating the continued success of 2026 graduate Jake Stedman, who was recently selected to the 2026 Northwoods League All-Star Team while playing for the Battle Creek Battle Jacks.

The All-Star Game was held July 8 at the iconic Field of Dreams Movie Site in Dyersville, Iowa, bringing together many of the top collegiate baseball players from across the country.

Stedman has been one of the Battle Jacks' most consistent performers this summer, batting .279 through 31 games with 34 hits, 21 RBI, a team-leading 20 walks, 11 stolen bases, and a team-best .385 on-base percentage. He also put together a 13-game hitting streak—one of the longest in the Northwoods League this season—and a nine-game home hitting streak while providing steady defense in the infield.

During his final season at MACC, Stedman earned First Team All-Region honors as an infielder before signing to continue his collegiate baseball career at Southeastern University in Florida, where he will study construction management.

Adding to the Greyhound connection, the Battle Creek Battle Jacks are led by MACC Head Baseball Coach Chris Fletcher, who is serving as the team's summer league manager.

The Northwoods League is the nation's premier summer collegiate baseball league, providing elite college players with the opportunity to compete at a high level while using professional rules and equipment.
