MACC Cheerleading Tryouts Set for June 11

Moberly Area Community College is inviting students to show their school spirit and athletic talent at the 2026-2027 MACC Cheerleading Tryouts on Thursday, June 11, at 1 p.m. in the MACC Activity Center.

Students interested in joining the cheerleading program will have the opportunity to learn more about team expectations, performance opportunities, and scholarship awards available to qualifying participants.

Cheerleading scholarships ranging from $250 to $1,500 are awarded each semester on a competitive basis. Scholarship funds may be applied toward educational expenses including tuition, housing, meal plans, books, and supplies. To remain eligible, recipients must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Students interested in trying out are encouraged to register in advance.
